Welcome, new lab members!

The start of a new academic year sees an influx of new researchers to the lab.

Welcome Meghan Jenkinson! Meghan is a palaeontologist, based in Earth and Environment, who will be working with Dr Cris Little, myself and colleagues from The Bath Royal Literary and Scientific Society, University of Exeter and the British Geological Survey on regional and global extinction-recovery patterns during a Jurassic extinction event.

Welcome Kate Simpson! Kate is a poet, critic, and creative writing academic, based in the School of English, who will be working with Prof Graham Huggan, Dr Caitlin Stobbin and myself investigating the role of ecopoetry in conceptualising mass extinction events.

Welcome Charlotte Clay! Charlotte is a marine biologist, based in the School of Biology, who will be working with Dr Maria Beger and myself on predicting future changes to coral reef functioning and species interactions using past coral reef extinctions.

Welcome Olivia Jarratt! Olivia is a BSc Environmental Science undergaduate who will be working with Amy Shipley, Lydia Woods and myself on community changes across the Pliocene Megafaunal Extinction in the southern Pacific Ocean.
